Supporting Parents and Children at Home
Babies and young children reach developmental milestones in a sequence and usually within a certain range of time.
When trained nurses visit homes to support children's developmental progress, problems are more likely to be detected early, when intervention can help the most.
Through the Chemung County School Readiness Project, all families living in the county have the opportunity to sign up when a baby is born for home visits from nurses who are trained in early child development.
Want to sign-up for Nurse Home Visiting? Call (607) 733-6533 or e-mail nursevisiting@chemungschoolreadiness.com
