Community Partners

The School Readiness Project was conceived by early childhood-focused organizations working together to develop a better way to foster the healthy development of children ages 0-5 years. 

Our funding partners include The Community Foundation, Chemung County, the State of New York and the Elmira City School District. These partners have delivered new funding and resources to support the efforts of the implementation partners.
In addition, every early childhood partner has committed to maintain their current budgets and spending targeted to early childhood programs through 2010.
